Benefits of Fuzzy Logic on MPPT and PI Controllers in the Chain of Photovoltaic Control Systems

This paper presents a comparative study between two maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithms, the incremental conductance algorithm (InC) and fuzzy logic controller (FLC). The algorithms were applied to low photovoltaic conversion system, they both use different PI controllers grid synchronization techniques. Moreover, InC FLC methods have Clarke Park Transformation. To some extent, approaches are similar, but their control loops different. Therefore, has classic Proportional Integrative (PI) with simple phase-locked (PLL). At same time, works linked Second Order Generalized Integrator (SOGI). proposed techniques examine solar energy performance of (PV) system under possible irradiance changes constant temperature conditions. Finally, comparison been made FLC, which demonstrates effectiveness over algorithm. turns convert easily, decreasing fluctuations, it offers quick response variation (shading effect). simulation results show superior logic, helps inverter 99% generated by panels. In comparison, converts around 80%.
